Minnesota Medicaid Expansion Approved by HHS

The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) approved Minnesota Gov. Mark Dayton's plan to expand the state's Medicaid rolls by 95,000. The move, which begins Mar. 1, will provide health insurance to low-income adults who previously were uninsured and broader coverage at lower cost to others who received care under the state-funded programs.
