Pharmacy Students Promote Community Health

Wayne State University's Eugene Applebaum College of Pharmacy and Health Services started a student-run diabetes clinic focused on promoting health and wellness for patients with the disease. The clinic operates on the first and third Mondays of every month at the Super All Year Detroit Building in Highland Park, MI. The South End Meanwhile, students at the Feik School of Pharmacy at the University of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio, TX, are volunteering at the Haven of Hope for the homeless where they perform health screenings and give medication advice.
